| The Town of Sidney has raised money for a pier for recreational use. The money has been
raised solely from private donations, not even a penny has come from taxpayers.
The "Reefballs" shown on the diagram above are illustrated at the top of this page. They are hollow concrete balls placed in the water adjacent to the pier to attract marine life by giving them habitat in which to live.
